Welcome to PetsMating – the place for pet owners to find a mating/playing partner for our lovely little pets! We are PetsMating, a brand created, developed and maintained by ETK Technologies (“PetsMating”, “Us” or “We”) and this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website www.petsmating.com (our “Website”), use our mobile application PetsMating app (“App”) or otherwise access our services (collectively with Website and App, “Services”). We respect your privacy, which is why we want to let you know about the ways we manage and secure your information. Please read this Policy carefully, as your continued access and use of our Services means you agree to the terms in this Policy. If you do not agree with our terms, please do not continue to use PetsMating (although we would be sad to see you go!). CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Because PetsMating is a place mainly for pets and their owners, we only offer our Paid Services to users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years old, you are not allowed to purchase our premium services without an adult’s supervision and you will be reliable to do so.

PetsMating is not responsible for any purchases made by anyone under 18 years of age without adult supervision and we reserve the rights to delete and ban your account immediately. If you are under 18 years of age, you are also not allowed to request any kind of refunds for financial activities made on the account without the approval or supervision of the card holder.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU!

We can’t help you find suitable pet partners without knowing a little about yourself first. This is why we ask for basic profile information. We also collect information generated as you use our Services, such as Internet protocol addresses, as well as information from third parties, like when you access our Services through social media account.

REGISTRATION AND YOUR PETSMATING PROFILE

The first step to meeting fellow pet owners is to put yourself and your pet out there and register on our App platform! To register on PetsMating, you will have to create an account on our App where we ask you to complete a basic profile and to include any additional information about yourself.

This includes asking for your:

Login Credentials.

Username.

Mobile number.

Gender identity.

Date of birth.

Photographs (please note that you may be asked to allow us access to your camera or photo album in order to post pictures).

Location (GPS).

Login information and friend lists for social media accounts that you connect to your PetsMating Account (this could include, for example, your Facebook, and Instagram accounts (“Social Media Accounts“) which will be available in future iterations.

Please note that some of the information that you choose to provide may be considered “special” or “sensitive” personal information in some jurisdictions (for example, racial origins, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs). By choosing to provide this information, you voluntarily consent to our processing of that information.

WHAT INFORMATION WE FETCH FROM YOU

Whenever you log on, we receive technical information about you or how you access our Services. For example, we collect information about which features you’ve used, how you’ve used them, and the devices you use to access our services. We use this information to constantly improve PetsMating so that we can find you and your pet the best match possible.

Such information includes:

Usage Information: Details of your use of our Services, such as which links you clicked on, content response times, pet lovers you connect with, the number of messages you send and receive, and other similar communication data you access and use on the App.

Device Information: Information about your mobile device, computer, and an internet connection, including your Internet Protocol address, operating system, and browser type.

Geolocation Information: If you choose to enable these features, we can collect your geolocation (latitude and longitude) through various means, depending on the service and device you’re using, including GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi connections. This information helps to personalize our App and allows you to more easily interact with other pet lovers near you. The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren’t using the services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection. Don’t worry – you can always choose to disable this feature by accessing your Settings in the App. If you decline permission for us to collect your geolocation, we will not collect it.

Cookies (not the kind you reward Rocky with!) are a tool used by your web browser to personalize your experience on our Website and improve our Services. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer and/or mobile device. Most online providers use cookies, which is why, for example, certain websites remember what time zone you are in. Similarly, PetsMating uses cookies to recognize your preferences each time you visit us and helps us to analyze how our Services are performing. WITH OTHER USERS ON PETSMATING

Naturally, we want to connect you with other pet owners and that means any information that you voluntarily disclose, such as your public profile, will be seen by others once a match is confirmed between both of you.

WITH OUR SERVICE PROVIDERS AND PARTNERS

Service providers and other third parties help us to operate and improve our services. They perform critical functions such as data hosting, payment processing, website security, and maintenance.

FOR CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS

In the event that PetsMating undergoes a business transition or change of ownership, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, re-organization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, or in the event of insolvency or administration, we may be required to disclose your personal data.

WHEN REQUIRED BY LAW

We may disclose your information if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

• Meet applicable law, legal process, or government request.
• Enforce our Terms of Service, including investigating potential violations.

HOW OUR DOGS GUARD YOUR INFORMATION

We want you to have a safe, secure experience when searching for your next date! This is why we have implemented commercially reasonable security measures to protect and prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control, including your personal information. Our technical experts at PetsMating work hard to ensure that you and your pet have a safe user experience. While we take reasonable precautions against possible security breaches of our App, Website, member database, and records; no app, website, or internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. We urge you to take steps to keep your personal data safe (including your password) and to log out of your account after use. If you lose your password or give it out, or another service provider that you use suffers a data breach and you have used the same credentials with that service provider as you have with PetsMating, your personal data may be compromised. If that happens, please report it via our Contact Us page.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY BREACHES OF SECURITY, DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE, OR ANY LOSS OR UNAUTHORISED USE OF YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION OR OTHER DATA.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes (as set out above) and as permitted by applicable law. In practice, we delete or anonymize your information upon deletion of your account (following the safety retention window), unless:

• We must keep it to comply with applicable law (for instance, some “traffic data” is kept for one year to comply with statutory data retention obligations).
• We must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for instance, records of consents to our Terms, Privacy Policy, and other similar consents are kept for five years).
